Title: Christy marries Jeb Spencer" ending Author: Sherry Okay, I admit it. I find James so charming and smart that I have written an ending to the mini-series that keeps David and Neil in Cutter Gap for future PAX Christy productions. So, here is my "Christy marries Jeb Spencer" ending to the movies. *************************** Disclaimer: "Christy", by Catherine Marshall, is owned by the Marshall and LeSourd families and this is just for fun. ************************************************ Old Christy: Darling, at the last minute, I had to forget about David and Neil so that I could follow my heart and marry Jeb Spencer. Daughter: But why, Mother? And how did Neil and David take the news? Old Christy: Fairlight was my best friend, daughter. I loved her like a sister; she was my sister. When she died, Jeb was heartbroken and so was I. By marrying him, I mended our hearts. Daughter: Were you happy with Jeb? Old Christy: Oh yes! I loved taking care of Fairlight's children. It made me feel that her love was all around me. And, every night, Jeb sang to me and he called me his little honeybee. Daughter: What did David and Neil think? Old Christy: David lurked around and acted like a sore loser. Neil was heartbroken but he understood. I still remember the shock in their flummoxed faces. Daughter: My daddy was a wonderful man who sang in church and made each of his children feel special. I love you, Mother. The End Roll credits JuiceMan commercial 3.5 million viewers swoon
